ShCh Bedeslea Cutting Edge via Hastabbi JW (Hettie) - one of the youngest CC-winners, taking her first from the Puppy Class.

2005 – Honoured and thrilled to judge the youngstock and BIS at the Italian Club Raduno in Italy.

Esta was mated to Wynsett Mistero to produce Thompson (ShCh B. Daydream) for Vic Glazik, the RCC, JW and GS-winning Layla (B. Sweet Dreams for Jaspins JW) as foundation for Martin Wellman’s Jaspins kennel.

Hetty, Zack and Cassie all gained their show titles!

2006 - Esta gained two further CCs and her show title. Zack gained his Dutch show title. Layla was awarded Junior Champion in Holland and a RCC and her Junior Warrant in the UK at the end of the year.

B. Sandpiper (Topaz) was selected for the Southern Golden Retriever Display Team and later that year produced a litter to Largymore Marcus.

2007  Another first!  I travelled the ‘pond’ to judge the National Specialty Show in Virginia, USA.

Esta was titled 'Top Brood Bitch' (Our Dogs) for the breed. Dash and Thompson both won their first CCs and Hetty took her total to 7.  In May, Esta produced a litter of 6 to Italian Import, Ludstar Callisto in Italix.

In September I returned to the USA to film a breed-specific seminar in Wisconsin.  ‘The Italian Spinone – Form & Function’ was released on DVD in 2009.

2008 - Manchester Ch show - Tica (B. Trick O The Tail) won MPB and PB to start off the next generation.

Layla produced a litter of ten bitches that included Jaspins Sweet Nothings for Bedeslea (Macy), who joined the Strey’s hunt/show kennel in Wisconsin and her sister Maddie (AmCh J Sweet Success) travelled with her to live in Pittsburgh.  Both are co-owned. Once delivered to their new homes, I was free to present to Judges on behalf of the parent club.

Dash gained an Irish Show Champion title.

Tica gained her Gib Ch title and a number of Group Placements in Spain and just requires the ‘punto obligato’ at Madrid to be credited with a SpCh title.

Thompson won his second and third CCs to gain his show title in the UK.

B. Canny Lad at St Vincent and Dave Stelling gained Working Test awards and a number of Breed Club trophies for their ‘dual purpose’ achievements.

2009 – We returned to the UK and then I made a trip to Illinois in time to see Maddie gain her Am Ch title at fifteen months. This trip presented another opportunity to work with SCoA on their Breed Education programme for Judges.

Later in the year I delivered Acricalmi Unica in Italix (Elena) to Suzanne Hudson in Washington State and she was joined by Italix Milena Olivia (Miela) in 2010 - two beautiful girls to broaden the gene pool and hopefully make their mark in the showring and field.

Rory Major’s B. Tiger By The Tail at Bryantscroft (Ludo) made his debut in Field Trials and impressed judges with his capabilities.

The DVD ‘Italian Spinone – Form & Function’ was launched.

2010 - An updated version of ‘The Italian Spinone’ book is planned for launch very soon.

Tica has now joined Elena and Miela in Washington, USA and is about to produce the next generation for this small but dedicated kennel.

Congratulations to Martin and Zack on winning the CACIB in Liege at ten years of age, to make a new snip of history for the breed ** UK and Int Ch Bedeslea Boscarelli with Jaspins ShCM**

‘Breeding the complete Spinone’ is our continued aim – ‘Bella e Brava’, as the Italians say – ‘beauty and courage’ coupled with this breed’s wonderful natural intelligence, gentle demeanor and unique expression.  “Without all of the above ingredients that blend together to epitomise this multi-talented breed, a Spinone is not a Spinone”.
